Take a Journey

I just thought I'd relate one of my favorite recent comedy routines. I don't remember the guy's name, but he was talking about how he and his girlfriend had been living together, and the troubles they were having with pets:

"So we get some goldfish. You know, sensible kind of pets. Low maintenance. And the thing about the goldfish is, they have personality. Hers, you know, is the happy-to-see-you, jumping up to the top of the bowl, knows who you are type. Mine, on the other hand, is the sulking on the bottom, Is he alive, gloomy type of goldfish. Anyway, I'm at home one day, and I see her goldfish jumping up and down, all excited. I think, maybe it wants some food. So I start feeding it, but it keeps jumping up and down. All of a sudden, it's just floating in the water. And then I realize. My goldfish was killing hers! So there's my goldfish sulking at the bottom, and hers floating at the top. Then she gets home. Sees her dead goldfish. She's LIVID. At my goldfish. She starts scolding the goldfish. BAD goldfish! She decides she's going to punish my goldfish for the wrongdoing. Do you know what she does? She takes the goldfish. In his bowl. Puts him in the closet. Locks the door.

....

I don't think you're taking the journey with me...

....

She takes the goldfish.
In his bowl.
Puts it in the closet.
Locks the door.

Locks the door.

Locks the door.

LOCKS THE DOOR.

_LOCKS_ _THE_ _DOOR_.
